We then departed from the Azores on a slow, hot crossing of 9 days to Portugal, making our landfall at Cascais near Lisboa Portugal was OK, but
too many other boats and every town on the coast seemed very touristy and full of drunk, sunburnt English holidaymakers. So
after sailing down the coast past Cabo San Vincente to the Algarve and Lagos we decided to leave Europe and go instead to
Morocco. |
